Bonaparte is the Capital world of the French Republic, and the main system of the "southern" department, comprising Toulouse, Strasbourg, Lyon and Nantes. Bonaparte is a very beautiful planet, and in fact tourism makes up for the vast majority of its income. The natural sights on the planet are breathtaking, and the incredible eclipses made possible by the size and orbital parameters of the two moons are famous throughout human colonized space. Moreover, in Bonaparte's capital, New Paris, it's possible to see the original Eiffel Tower and Versailles Palace, dismantled and rebuilt here after the abandoning of Earth. The Paris System houses the 1st Fleet HQ. An experimental defense system, the Maginot Grid, orbits the planet of Bonaparte itself.
