Greater German Reich
Wherever there is a turning wheel, wherever there’s a busy street, wherever there’s the march of a million feet, the iron heart of Germany beats. Here the Reichsadler flies high, and here the German Nation State is preserved amidst the chaos of the Orion Arm. For the Greater German Reich is pure: untrammeled by false Socialist propaganda, or the weaknesses of internationalism and democracy, protected by the might of German industry, German military might, and the German people. Thus is Germany kept safe, thus Germany endures!
In the cold reaches of the Orion Arm, there hangs one planet that beats with a power that cannot be checked. In its orbit hang a hundred space stations, spacecraft are ever moving around its blue green orb, carrying cargo and passengers throughout the Reich that pivots around this one small orb. Hanging above its polar icecap is the might fleet of the Reichs-SS, protectionfor the people below, and for the idea that the planet represents. This is Germania, the pride of the German people, the Neu Berlin that represents the triumph of the German nation
The great struggle of Germany against Socialism and Democracy was begun so many years ago. When those self same people still clung to their cradle and feared the night of space. Then came the Nazional Sozialistiche Deutschlander Arbites Partei, led by the indomitable Fuhrer, they took a weakened nation, and breathed new strength and life into its dying frame. The war they unleashed was at first to save just Earth, but when the Aliens came, the Fuhrer realized that this war was to save far more than that, it was to save the Future for Germany! The Victory that Germany won was bittersweet, the Fuhrer was lost, and so too were his closest comrades in the fighting.
In the consolidation after the war, the path that Germany was too follow was set by a new political settlement. The new office of Reichskanzler was invested with the power of the Fuhrer, and under the leadership of these great men, guided at all times by the Reichstag and the Shutz-Staffel, the Reich was the first of the human nations to expand into the stars. In leaps and bounds the future of the German people was secured. A safe haven in the stars was to be found, and the Neu Deustchland was to be defended with blood, treasure and toil against all the myriad of enemies that were arrayed against it. Now the steel ships of the Kriegsmarine ply the space lanes of the Reich, the armored fist of the Wehrmacht fights on a myriad of worlds, all to safeguard Germany!
