General Report:
Our flight was participating in a general sweep of the XXXXXXXX Gas Giant and intercepted transmissions from an unknown source. Upon closing in for a visual account, Captain Korolev spotted several flashes, one flash, quite brilliant, damaged his spacecraft and was forced to return to XXXXXXXX. With our onboard recon equipment hampered by some sort of jamming field, only a visual description was used to identify the enemy ship.
