Recordings made of a highway purportedly in the Confederate Union on Joseph have sparked fears of some sort of environmental disaster. The leaked footage depicts a vehicle travelling down an unpaved road in an unknown location passing several large signs. One sign reading “Please Close All Windows, Turn Off All Ventilation Accessories And Drive As Fast As Your Vehicle Can Go For the Next 30 Miles” can be clearly seen.

Confederate and independent sources have been unable to verify the authenticity of the footage.

Authorities on New Geneva are crediting a KGB Operative with assisting in the arrest of famed smuggler Julian Vess. Vess had been wanted in the New Geneva system for over three years for restricted arms trading and a suspected involvement with Black Mask. Vess and four companions were arrested, two of which have been hospitalized with gunshot wounds. Master Sergeant Arthur Schmid did not comment on the Operatives role in the arrest, but stated “the involvement of a KGB Agent in this case was a lucky break for us and we are very happy with the results”.

Neither the Soviet Union nor Geneva Confederation would comment on why the KGB Operative was present in the system.

The International Civil Aviation Organization today announced that the number of privately owned spacecraft has reached over 1.7 million. As the costs of faster than light travel continues to drop, the number is expected to nearly double by 2317.

The demand has become so intense that used spacecraft have been often been selling for more than their original price. The wait list for new transatomospheric VTOLs in particular have, in some instances, reached nearly 2 years.

In response to the growing numbers of private spacecraft in the Orion Arm, the Federation of Allied Worlds is expected to announce plans to drastically increase orbital infrastructure, and help facilitate similar improvements across the Solar Sector.

In what is most likely the largest expedition to the system in over a century, the Orion Environmental Commission has dispatched the Samuel de Champlain to the Yuggoth system under the command of famed pioneer William Dyer.

The Samuel de Champlain will be taking on supplies at Bastion this week, preparing for a 4 month stay in Yuggoth said OEC Chairman Douglas Hall. “Famously dubbed an ‘unimportant mystery’, Yuggoth is anything but, it is our hope this expedition can answer many of the lingering questions we have about the system.”

Three days of demonstrations outside the Soviet Embassy in New Angeles turned violent today as protesters knocked down a police barrier and attempted to storm the Soviet compound. One man was killed as he attempted to climb the embassy walls before falling to his death.

What began as a small scale rally of roughly 300 people on Wednesday had grown in size to over 5000 people by Friday after being heavily covered by AINComms. Protest organizers told INN reporters the rally was in protest of the Soviet-German war, and did not in any way condone the violence that had occurred.

Protesters reportedly managed to break through a police divider and attempted to set fire to the embassy gates before being subdued by heavily armored riot police.

The Soviet Union is accusing the Andrean Republic of failing to protect its Embassy and is demanding restitution.
